The Puggles
These are only three of Liz and Jack's Pugs.
They are beautiful, serious show dogs.
I didn't know much about Pugs until I met these guys. I quickly fell in love.
They came to see me at my house so that I could get some photos.
I laughed so hard at their antics, I could barely hold the camera.
All I could think of while I was photographing them was, these are naked fat angels!
I think they are really like cherubs.
I just heard that one of them, Fern, may be expecting.
How cute would a Puggle be in a baby bonnet?
I hope somebody gives her a baby shower. I'm going!
This is a painting by Gourlay Steell, called The Drumplier Pugs, circa 1867.
It is a tempera on board of Queen Victoria's pugs.
